The number of people in Texas has been steadily increasing, but with that growth comes a growing need for places to visit.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of Americans in Texas jumped from 3.5 million in 1950 to 8.1 million in 2017.
That increase in population, coupled with the booming population of the state, has led to an increase in demand for places in the state.
Cities have been trying to figure out how to cater to this growth, and in 2017, some have figured out how: the cities of San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas have been taking the lead on underground travel, while cities in rural areas are doing the same.
The trend of underground travel in the Lone Star State is gaining momentum and is expected to continue.
