This article is a quick guide to how to check that your flight has been cancelled or delayed and why.
How do I check if my flight is on the cancelled list?
The easiest way to check is to check your flight status on Twitter.
If your flight was cancelled on your account, then you can check the status of your flight on the official @Jetstar UK account.
You can also tweet @JetStarUK asking about your flight to confirm your flight details have been cancelled.
If your flight wasn’t cancelled and you still want to see it cancelled, you can find the flight status of all your flights on your airline’s website, using the search box in the top right hand corner.
If you have a question about a cancelled flight, please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of the official Jetstar UK Twitter account.
If you still can’t find the answer, ask the airline and they will try to help.
The status of flights cancelled and cancelled with a flight on another airline will vary.
The airline will update the status if the flight was in service and cancelled, cancelled with no flight and no departure date.
For example, if a flight was scheduled to leave from Edinburgh on Tuesday, April 1st 2018 and is cancelled due to a bad weather forecast on Friday, April 5th 2018, it may be cancelled with departure date and no flight.

If it’s been confirmed, then it’s probably a cancelled and delayed flight.
What do I do if my ticket or itinerary has been changed and I’m not getting my refund?
If your ticket or travel has been updated, then please check your itinerary and your flight date on your ticket before you book your flight.
We advise you to check the latest status of the flight and confirm that you are on the flight.
If this is the case, you may be able to find your flight through your airline website, by searching for your flight number and email address.
If not, check the relevant page on the Jetstar website and ask the company for the flight details.
If there are any changes to your booking and you don’t know what to do about them, you’ll need to talk to the airline or airline staff member who made the changes.
You’ll need your ticket number and the airline’s email address to get in touch with them.
What are my rights if I’ve been asked to cancel my ticket?
You’ll need a ticket to the airport, as well as a valid ticket to a different airport if you’re travelling to another country.
You should also be able in your passport to prove that you’ve checked in and paid for the trip.
If someone has asked you to cancel your ticket and you haven’t received it, you should try to contact your ticket agent and request a refund.
The agent will usually try to resolve the issue as soon as possible and will usually send a letter, usually within 48 hours.
If the airline doesn’t refund your ticket within 48 days, they may not have a choice.
If they can’t, they will probably take your refund to another airline or to a third party and give it to you.
You may need to get an extension to the 48-day cancellation period if you want to get a refund from the airline.
You may also need to make arrangements for a refund to your bank or other payment provider.
If I’ve missed my flight and can’t contact my agent, can I still get a full refund?
If the airline has not refunded your ticket, you will be able get a partial refund.
However, if you’ve not received the refund within 48 or 72 hours, you won’t be able use your refund for the travel.
It’s likely that your bank, credit card provider or other financial institution will charge you for the cancellation fee or any other costs.
You’ll also need an alternative payment option for the payment.
If there is no other alternative, then there will be a 10% deposit to cover the airline costs.
This is not a complete list of all the ways that you can get your money back from the company.

Can I still cancel my flight?
You can cancel your flight using the Jetstars Cancellation Services website, and you will get a cancellation notice when you log in.
You will need to verify your flight information before you can cancel, and if you have already cancelled your flight, then the airline will let you know when you’ve been let off.
